Hello there!
I'm an illustrator driven by emotional connection and a love for intricate detail. With my trusted traditional medias ,watercolour and ink, I bring to life a range of projects. My work spans four key areas: children’s book illustration, cover art, black-and-white interior illustrations, and custom pet portraits. Through children’s books and pet portraits, I explore the power of emotional resonance, creating images that speak deeply to both the audience and the commissioner. Whether inspiring young readers with expressive storytelling or capturing the soul of a beloved companion, I aim to create work that feels personal and meaningful. My cover art is guided by a fascination with narrative and genre from a lifelong passion for books and reading. I work closely with my clients to devise a cover that reflects the heart of your book through brainstorming and thumbnailing. My black-and-white work is where i indulge in my fascination with detail, contrast, and texture. I use intuitive markmaking to bring these pieces to life! Emotional connection and attention to detail are at the core of my practice.
